Thomas Ryan (who was head stableman at the Guggenheim Stable in Whitestone, Queens) and his family in 1906.

Greg built a customized round pen for our family farm REFUGIO in SouthernPines for me to teach my younger students. He was very professional and pleasant to work with which is not the normal in this area. His prices are extremely reasonableagain not the norm in horse country . He was done in a very timely fashion and his work was great! We recommend him to anyone needing fencing or farm work done and will be using him again for ALL of our future projects !! Thanks again Greg.

I recently contacted Mr. Greg Beal about possibly constructing a fence for me. I spoke with Greg on the phone and he arrived within a day or two to look at my property. Greg was able to give me a reasonable estimate of both materials and labor for no cost. I then did decide to select Greg to come do the job. Greg showed up on time each day and even worked til late one of the days. In the end, I was extremely pleased with the final product and Greg's work ethic. Greg will be my go to guy in future endeavors.

Why Choose Us?

Greg Beal moved to the Sandhills from Long Island's North Shore (with his wife Diane and daughter Jaclyn) where he was a contractor. Being a third generation builder with over 30 years experience he continues his family tradition (his 5 other brothers are also in the trades) of providing clients with a quality product at a fair price. Old World European craftsmanship is ever present as every job is design built for longevity and esthetics.

Greg is also an avid horsemen as the love for equines run in his veins.  His Great Grandfather was the stableman for the Guggenheim family's carriage business in New York City at the turn of the century.  Much like Greg, Thomas Ryan was upset by the treatment of these working horses and urged the Guggenheim family to create better living conditions for these "beasts of burden".  They agreed and Thomas was placed in charge of the alternate farm located on 12th Road in Whitestone, Queens.

Greg is committed to providing you and your equine companions with the highest level of service, safety, quality craftsmanship. We value you as our client and always want you to choose us for your remodeling needs. We genuinely care about your project, experience, animal's safety and it shows.

Our Story

Outstanding work on our hay shed and our driveway gates. Greg goes above and beyond to finish the job and has managed to break all our expectations we had. This hay shed will not be the last job we will have him do for us.

I am so happy to have found Greg. He has been a life saver for me. Greg can repair anything we need fixed, from plumbing and drywall inside our barns to fence repair, pasture maintenance, improving our arena footing to building a manure composting pad. His knowledge of horses and horse farms is so helpful. I know a lot more about training a dressage horse than running a farm so I can rely on him for the solution to all our farm maintenance issues. I can focus on riding and training and turn the farm upkeep over to Greg.

Don't take our word for it.  Please see what our clients are saying...

Greg Beal...has helped me out in many a problem!  He has worked as a general contractor for me and I totally recommend Greg for many reasons: diligent, punctual, great prices, neat work...can do anything!
When Greg says he'll be there, he is! And what's unusual? Once he fixes something you do not have to have it repaired next year yet again!  Also, when he leaves, YOU do not have to clean up after him!
